May Organization Results! Click for more info!

Just wanted to give a quick update on Baseball in Port Lambton. After 1 month of baseball, our organization has come out to an amazing... start. We are 29-8-3 as a whole which is unbelievable considering we are such a very small village and our teams are playing opponents from large cities and towns from all over south western Ontario. From our Mite girls team getting there first win in over two years to our Rookie, Mosquito, Peewee River League teams have all remained undefeated heading into the weekend. Our OBA (travel teams) Rookie and Mosquito have both started off the seasons great collecting 4 and 5 wins respectively and only one loss each. Our Senior Team has been on fire this season with no regulation losses. And our first entry in a quite a while to the Junior Division, our new team may not have the results just yet but have done a great job getting the team up and running and are proving they will compete this season within the division. Port Lambton is Baseball. The volunteers, PLAA, coaches, players and families are the driving force behind this organization and the success we are having. This record is not just this years hard work paying off but many years of hard work by everyone. For anyone wondering where some of the GALA days money goes or other fundraising efforts go, Just come out and watch a ball game, Its on the field, its the equipment, its the indoor facility time in the winter months, its on the backs of all these kids and players. Its the parks, diamonds, team events. I cant imagine being a part of a better organization out there. I said at the start of the season, great things were coming to Port Lambton Baseball, its still coming, we are not done yet and will continue to make this little village a force to be reckoned with both on and off the field. Come out and check out any one of our teams, You will be in for a show I can guarantee that. Check the new website for schedules and game times. Stay tuned ! #PIRATEPRIDE # PORTLAMBTONPIRATES
