We had 5 teams on the road this past weekend in tournaments, and all teams represented us very well!
Some of our youngest Pirates, our
U9 OBA team travelled to Saugeen Shores to compete in the "Battle at the Beach" tournament. This team continues to grow with each game, for many of them it was their first tournament. The U9 team had two losses and a BIG win on Saturday, we can't wait to watch this team grow!
Our
U13 OBA team was also competing in the "Battle at the Beach" tournament in Saugeen Shores. They had a great weekend, going 2-2 and getting beat out in their semi-final game. Looking forward to seeing what these boys have in store this summer!! A great weekend of ball!
The
U15 Girls Fastball team had a great showing over the weekend in Innerkip at the "Innerkip Girls Fastball Tournament". They finished the weekend with 3 wins and 1 loss, missing the finals by just 1 run. Congratulations on a great weekend ladies, we are so proud to see girl's ball growing in PL!
Our
U15 OBA team took home silver at the "Brantford Baseball Tournament". They went into Sunday undefeated, losing in the finals. This group of young men played fantastic all weekend, big things ahead for these boys! We are proud of you boys!
A big congratulations to our
Senior OBA team who took home GOLD at the "Dave Leitch Memorial Tournament" right here in PL. The seniors went 3-1, beating out Woodstock in the finals.
This tournament means a whole lot to our small town. Congratulations to the Seniors!!!
