Sarnia scored on a single by Jack V, a single by Trevor M, and a triple by Tyler D in the first inning. River League Pirates Mosquito captured the lead in the first inning. With two outs in the first inning Luke H drove in one run when he tripled. After River League Pirates Mosquito scored two runs in the top of the fourth, Sarnia answered with two of their own. River League Pirates Mosquito scored when Luke singled off of Trevor M, driving in one run and Trevor walked Carter V to drive in a run. Sarnia then answered when Carson A grounded out, scoring one run and Alex S singled off of Luke, driving in one run. Sarnia took the lead for good with three runs in the first inning. In the first Jack V singled off of Jacob H, driving in one run, Trevor singled off of Jacob, driving in one run, and Tyler D tripled off of Jacob, driving in one run. Luke went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead River League Pirates Mosquito in hits. River League Pirates Mosquito tore up the base paths, as four players stole at least two bases. Carter led the way with two. River League Pirates Mosquito didn't commit a single error in the field. Carter had six chances in the field, the most on the team. Sarnia collected 11 hits. Jack and Alex each collected multiple hits for Sarnia. Sarnia was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Jack made the most plays with one.
