Peewee Boys River League, 2019 Season (Port Lambton Pirates)

In Peewee Boys River League action on Wednesday July 5th the Port Lambton Pirates and the Blenheim Bees met for their second time this season before fans gathered at MacDonald Park in Port Lambton.

In Peewee Boys River League action on Wednesday June 28th the Port Lambton Pirates and the Dover Centre Dawgs put on the match of the season for fans gathered at MacDonald Park in Port Lambton.

A full 6 innings and a tight game.  The Pirates leading 4-2 after 3 innings added 2 more insurance runs in the top of 6th while shutting down the Giants in their last at bat. Winning pitcher was Logan Lester in his first start of the season (and first Peewee career start).  Solid back-up on the bump came from Brayden Krayenbrink as middle reliever and the save went to Chase Sitze who struck out 6 of 8 batters faced in his two inning finish. The Pirates remain undefeated with a 7-0 record on the season.

Pitching Staff and Hot bats drive 16-7 win for Pirates over the Blenheim Bees on Saturday Pitcher Aaron Highfield got the W with solid back up from Wade McLachlin and Tim Eberts. The Pirates take on Corunna 3 Giants in Corruna on Monday June 19th.
