ParticipACTION Community Better Challenge -- Walk to Win
Submitted By Kaylen Burgess on Sun 05 26, 19
Port Lambton Athletic Association has teamed up with local businesses, associations, and the St. Clair Township to kick start the MSC Renewal Fundraising Campaign.

This is a colossal initiative to generate the funding needed for renovation and construction on a new Multi-Million Dollar Community Sports Complex.

The First Phase is The ParticpACTION Community Better Challenge.

Details on this campaign can be found in the attached publications but basically all residents of St. Clair Township are challenged to get up and get out!

By downloading an App to your mobile device, you will be able to track your activity for a two week period beginning May 31st.  Every time you do something physical be it a walk, run, workout or playing a game....upload your hours to your App.

The program will collect the information based on your postal code and compile the Data to determine which community is the most active.

To help Kick off this campaign, the township has organized a 5km Walk to Win event.  We are asking ALL available Port Lambton Athletic Associations baseball players to attend this event wearing their Port Lambton Pirates jerseys.

WHEN:   May 31st 5:00pm
WHERE: Civic Centre Fountain
WHAT:   5km Route beginning from the fountain

This walk will count individually towards hours of activity but also our association can submit the same hours.

Come out and represent the Community and lets win this thing!!!!
